Why I dey get headache?

Headache na very common thing.

E no always mean say serious problem dey.

Most times, na normal body response to stress or tiredness.

Headaches fit happen for many reasons. The most common causes include stress, Person no drink enough water,  tiredness, person too dey look phone, laptop, tv, or even bad posture.

The brain by himself no dey feel pain. Headaches dey happen when pain-sensitive systems (muscles, nerves, and blood vessels) around the head and neck dey disturbed.

These disturbances or wahala fit happen when stress increase, body lack enough water, sleep change, posture no good, or the nervous system become overactive. All these changes fit lead to headache pain.
 

Common causes of headache

1️⃣ Tension Headaches

This na the most common type of headache.

Tension headaches dey feel like:

• person press the head or like person tie headtie or headband strong
• tightness around the head
• or like person press or drag the neck or shoulder

E happen because of:

• stress
• bad posture
• muscle tension/if person dey carry heavy sometin every time 
• tiredness

Most tension headaches no serious.


2️⃣ Screen Strain Headaches

Too much screen time fit also cause headaches.

When person look phone, computer, or laptop for long time, e fit strain the eyes and also e fit increase tension for the neck muscles.

These kind headaches  fit improve when person:

• take regular breaks from the screen
• sit with better posture
• rest the eyes
• and reduce eye strain


3️⃣ Dehydration Headaches

The brain dey very sensitive to water balance for the body.

Even small dehydration(wen u nor drink enough water) fit trigger headache because the body no get enough fluid.

This kind headache often improve after person drink enough water.


4️⃣ Fatigue-Related Headaches

When person no sleep well or sleep no enough, the nervous system fit become more sensitive.

Fatigue-related headaches common after long days, stress, or lack of rest.

These headaches often improve after proper sleep and rest.


5️⃣ Migraine Headaches

This kind headaches different from normal tension headaches.

The pain fit feel:

• very strong pain (moderate to severe pain)
• like person dey nack the head (throbbing pain)
•e b like normal light to bright (sensitivity to light)
• like the sound too loud (sensitivity to sound)
• Like say u wan vomit (nausea)

Migraines usually no dey dangerous like that, but e fit affect person’s daily life well well and this fit cause other problems.

E dey happen because the nervous system become more sensitive, no b because say something damage for the brain o.

Headache fit also come from:

malaria
• infection
fever
• sinus problem
high blood pressure
• hormone changes


When headache no too serious

Headache no dangerous if:

• e mild
• e reduce with rest
• e no dey frequent
• e improve after water and rest


When to see doctor urgently

See doctor if headache follow:

• confusion
weakness
• e hard to talk
• fainting
• high fever
• stiff neck
• sudden serious headache
